Fun competition

Märt Israel and the best javelin thrower in Sweden, Magnus Arvidsson are good friends. Magnus lives here in Växjö and trains with the legendary coach Jonas Mellblom.

The other day they had a fun competition in overhead throwing with a 5kg shot. Both athletes have thrown farther but it was nice to see them go after it and have a good competition.

Märt ended up with a throw on 24.27m when Magnus did 22.55m.

The next fun thing they decided to do is to throw a 6kg medicinaball up to the ceiling of the throwing hall as many times as possible. Magnus has done that 10 times earlier and did 6 times yesterday. Märt tested it and did 4 times the first time he tried. It will be fun to see when they do it.

It is important to not forget the fun in training even if both of these guys are very serious sportsmen.
