Strong for Gerd in Rome

Gerd Kanter threw 67.69m and got second in the Dimond League meet in Rome tonight. This result for Gerd is good and his second place also.

Right now he is not in his top shape physically and there is much more there later on in the season with more rest. In relation to Shanghai this meet tonight was a strong one but not as strong as there.

Gerd will compete in the European Team Championships next on the 20 June to follow up with a meet in Kohila in Estonia on the 25 June before going to the next DL meet in Eugene on the 3 July.

Things look good for him and right on schedule.
