Gerd Kanter had 68.76m in the European Team Championships 1st League in Budapest today. This result is very good for Gerd and the win also over the home favorite Zoltan Kovago.
Gerd is struggling with his speed now and has a hard time in all meets. But, 68.61m in Shanghai, 67.69m in Rome and 68.76m today is very good and in relation to everything right on schedule.
He will compete in Kohila on the 25th June before going to Eugene on the 3rd of July. In relation to his training schedule things are good and it will be exciting to see him at the end of July if everything goes as it is supposed to.
The European Championships in Barcelona is the main event this year and we hope for the best there.
Niklas Arrhenius had a tough day 57.27m and 8th place is way under his capability. Niklas can do much better and we will go on a try to do better next time.
