Navdeep Scottish Champion in Glasgow

Navdeep Dhaliwal won the discus throw today at the Scottish Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. Nav nailed it in the last throw to win the gold with a throw of 50.42m.

Before the last round she had 50.08m and was second so it was a close call. This is very good for Nav as this is her best performance of the year and it comes in the biggest meet for her.

 

Nav threw 50.93m last year in good conditions and her PR since eight years ago is 52.05m. Now her next goal should be to break that PR as it is about time to do it after all these years.

 

Navdeep said she was very nervous in the meet and because of that she felt she could have thrown farther. But, today it was about winning and Nav won the meet and is a Scottish Champion.

 

Hopefully we can get some clips and pictures later today or tomorrow from the meet and then these will be posted here down under.
