A bad day in Barcelona

The shot putters started out this morning and did not do well. Niklas Arrhenius was though better and had 18.93m in the first throw that was a good opener. Then he could not follow it up in the two remaining throws and fouled both.

Kim was totally off and threw only 18.20m. Terrible competition for him and by far his worst performance of the year.

Well, it is not always Christmas but we go on as both athletes can so much more. But, it is always sad and emty after these qualification misses.

Niklas has to get reloaded tonight and learn and forget and come back tomorrow morning and just go for it in the discus with Gerd and Märt.

Kim has to get mad and angry and do better in the future.
